Role Overview: 

Based out of THG HQ in Manchester UK, the UK Country Manager has responsibility for the P&L, online sales, results & ecommerce strategy of Myprotein UK. You will be responsible for leading the Ecommerce Trading with x1 direct report to maximise growth in sales and new customer acquisition across the UK. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Responsibility and ownership for Myprotein UK, P&L, sales, growth strategy. 
  • Responsible for delivering annual budgets and producing a detailed annual business operating plan. 
  • Ensuring that the territory works collaboratively with wider channels to measure productivity and growth through performance data. 
  • Ensure that all trading/ growth plans are supported by the marketing channels, updating the relevant teams on any changes and pivots.  
  • Using our in-house data & technology platform, with over 30 million customers and 500 million unique visitors per annum, we can share valuable insights on customer behaviour and trends. 
  • Working in synergy with the other country and regional managers in Myprotein to help define the optimal growth strategy. Cross-functional teamwork with compliance, logistics, finance, and other departments is a necessity. 
  • Identifying your competitors and evaluating their strategies to determine their strengths and weaknesses relative to those of your own. 
  • Ensuring that the operating objectives and standards of performance are not only understood but owned by management and employees. 
  • Responsible for managing the territory trading teams - coaching, mentoring, and leading employees to maximise potential and development. 
  • Commercial reporting of category reporting and monitoring top line numbers (revenue, GP, NC etc.). 
  • Recruitment and skill gap analysis. 

Requirements: 

  • Previous experience in online retail running website trading (4+ Years). 
  • Experience in managing teams in e-commerce 
  • Previous experience in P&L management 
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and e-commerce. 
  • Proven communication and influencing skills. 
  • Commercially astute, ambitious, and highly intelligent individuals who are hungry for success and genuine responsibility. 
  • Entrepreneurial thinkers are welcome - those able to think outside the box are best suited to a true 'start-up', agile environment with early responsibility for key decision-making.
