Hardware Engineering Manager

Reports to: VP of Engineering

Department: Engineering

Location: UK, Europe

💼 About the role

PQShield is looking for a Hardware Engineering Manager to lead and oversee the development of next-generation hardware solutions tailored for Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC). In this role, you will manage a team of engineers working on the design, development, and implementation of secure and efficient cryptographic IP for semiconductor companies and secure communications.

As part of the Engineering team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional groups, including cryptographers, software engineers, and product managers, to execute on our hardware roadmap. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware design, cryptographic implementations, and semiconductor development, with a focus on delivering secure and high-performance products.

We have been established since 2018, so you would be directly working with the founders and inventors of this deep tech startup. The technology is already a couple of years in the making, its feasibility having been established, funding secured, and it has a clear path to market. This is a great opportunity for career progression and to get a head start in a rapidly expanding segment of the semiconductor industry (Post-Quantum Cryptography and RISC-V).
