What will you do

The Director of Global Demand Generation is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive demand generation strategies that drive pipeline growth and revenue across Johnson Controls' global markets. This role will report to the Vice President of Global Marketing Strategy and Operations and will work closely with the Marketing Leadership Team, Global Field Operations (GFO), Corporate functions, Regions, and Global Products.

How will you do it

  • Demand Generation Strategy: Develop and implement innovative, multi-channel demand generation strategies aligned with Johnson Controls' business objectives and long-range plans. Collaborate with product marketing, field marketing, and sales teams to ensure cohesive go-to-market approaches.

  • Pipeline Management and Revenue Growth: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for pipeline growth and revenue contribution. Develop predictive models to forecast demand and optimize resource allocation across channels and campaigns.

  • Marketing Technology and Data Analytics: Manage the selection, implementation, and optimization of marketing technology stack to support demand generation efforts. Leverage analytics to drive data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement in campaign performance.

  • Global Campaign Orchestration: Plan, execute, and measure global integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels. Ensure alignment with the company's 10 key campaigns and brand messaging.

  • Marketing and Sales Alignment: Foster strong partnerships with sales leadership to ensure seamless lead handoff processes, lead scoring models, and shared accountability for pipeline and revenue targets.

  • Budget Management and ROI Optimization: Manage the global demand generation budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across regions and channels. Develop and report on ROI metrics to demonstrate the impact of demand generation activities on business outcomes.

  • Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a high-performing team of demand generation professionals. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

What we look for

  • Extensive experience in B2B marketing, with a strong focus on demand generation and pipeline growth

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful demand generation strategies in a complex, matrix organization

  • Deep understanding of modern marketing technologies, including CRM (preferably Salesforce), marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and cross-functional teams

  • Experience in managing budgets and demonstrating marketing's contribution to revenue

  • Global mindset with experience working across diverse markets and cultures

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to operationalize complex initiatives

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required

  • Master's degree a plus (Business, Marketing, Communication, etc.)
