Aladdin® and eFront® provides asset managers, asset owners and asset servicers sophisticated risk analytics with comprehensive portfolio management, trading and operations tools on a single platform to power informed decision-making, effective risk management, efficient trading and operational scale across both public and private markets.

Role Description

The Aladdin Business is seeking to hire a world class Director with a proven track record of managing and leading complex and consultative sales to enterprise clients within the Investment Management industry. This will include partnering with business executives across a variety of industry verticals including insurance, pension funds and traditional asset managers.

The successful candidate will lead our eFront® business Development growth in UKI & Nordic Region and be an integral part of the wider EMEA Business Development Team. They will join a growing team with the expressed aim of driving our private markets eFront® sales growth within the UKI & Nordic Region. This will include leveraging opportunities within the existing client base, as well as driving new business development opportunities. The ability to partner with clients in a consultative and proactive manner is a key differentiating factor for the firm. This individual will require; unrivalled business and private markets domain knowledge, a proven track record of Business Development growth in the region and a steadfast dedication to partnering with prospective clients to deliver mutually beneficial results.

Key Responsibilities

•Build a business development plan and develop a strong pipeline of opportunities to drive eFront® sales in UKI & Nordics.

•Hunter mentality to generate prospect leads, support end-to-end sales of investment technology products to key prospects, and harvest revenue opportunities across existing clients.

•Engage in a consultative sales process to communicate as well as demonstrate eFront’s® unique value proposition.

•Manage complex sales cycles; from lead generation to contract negotiation and beyond.

•Establish strong personal relationships and foster a collaborative partnership with clients, creating mutually beneficial outcomes.

•Develop strong internal relationships with all groups within Aladdin Client Business and the broader BlackRock organization to ensure excellent client experience.

•Contribute innovative ideas to Aladdin’s product group based on clients’ needs in a fast-evolving marketplace.  

Experience Required

•10-15+ years of work experience. Previous experience in a financial technology firm working in sales or relationship management. Background in Alternatives financial technology firm is a plus.

•Demonstrable interest in Financial Markets with knowledge of Alternative Assets being a plus.

•Proven track record exceeding revenue targets.

•Ability to work across organizational functional lines and be effective in a global organization.

•Self-starter with the ability to operate with limited guidance in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

•Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to clients.
