Digital Product Manager

Manchester

Hybrid – You will be required to travel to Salford Quays twice a week

Permanent role

Salary: From £56,7000 (negotiable)

Full Time – 37.5 hours

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Digital Product Manager to join our Health Services Team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on autonomy and is eager to take full ownership of their domain. As the driving force behind the team, you will have the independence to shape strategy, make key decisions, and deliver impactful solutions. You will collaborate with passionate and talented colleagues, and always have the support of experienced senior leaders, including the Head of E-commerce.

How you will help us make health happen:

  • Define the Direction: Develop a compelling vision, strategy and roadmap for your domain to deliver solutions that address emerging opportunities and long-standing issues.
  • Lead with Impact: Inspire and guide a cross-functional agile team to create innovative digital products that improve commercial outcomes and provide excellent user experiences. You will work closely with the Scrum team
  • Own Your Domain: Take full ownership of the health services e-commerce experience, operating with autonomy to shape the product's future.
  • Bridge Business and Clinical Expertise with Technology: Collaborate with Bupa's business and clinical teams to ensure products are rooted in business/commercial value and patient health outcomes.
  • Deliver Customer-Centric Solutions: Champion the customer's voice, identifying pain points and creating solutions that help users access our services with simplicity and efficiency.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate the roadmap, progress and key metrics to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborative Working: Work closely with Commercial, Marketing Product, Design, Engineering and Delivery to deliver first-class solutions and manage dependencies across squads.

Key Skills/Qualifications needed for this role:

  • Experience leading product squads in digital health or related industries, with a track record of taking ownership from concept to delivery.
  • A strong ability to foster collaboration across disciplines, from engineering to design, ensuring the success of your autonomous squad.
  • Comfortable working in a complex environment, navigating challenges with agility while maintaining a customer-first focus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills to articulate your vision, align stakeholders, and inspire your team to achieve ambitious goals.
