Job Description SummaryAs Digital Marketing Strategy and Media Director you will act as a strategic business partner to our international zones, driving the development of high-performing digital media strategies that align with business objectives and customer needs. You will collaborate to define the optimal channel mix and investment priorities while establishing workflows and structures with media agency partners to enhance campaign performance. As a key enabler of the media performance and strategy central Digital Team, you will ensure best practices and generate performance insights. Learnings are continuously shared with zones to refine strategies and drive impact. This role requires expertise in digital marketing strategy, media optimization, and strong relationship management to bridge local market needs and central processes effectively.
Candidates for this role are located either in Netherlands (remote set-up) or close to Buc, France (hybrid set-up).

Essential responsibilities:

  • Partner with zone teams to align digital marketing strategies with business objectives, support the translation of Marketing plans into strong campaign plans;
  • Guide the selection of campaign programs based on objectives, the right channel mix, and investment strategies to meet market-specific goals;
  • Embed customer journey thinking into strategies and initiatives, aligning touchpoints and investments across the full buyer journey to ensure optimal impact at every stage;
  • Lead the coordination with media agencies, ensuring they are aligned with the organization's goals and set up to deliver optimal results;
  • Continuously challenge media agencies to optimize campaign performance by leveraging data-driven to refine strategies and improve overall campaign effectiveness;
  • Act as a key liaison to share performance learnings, trends, and innovations from media partners with zones to improve future strategies;
  • Develop and implement processes, tools, and frameworks to transition media execution from external agencies to an in-house team, ensuring seamless operations and enhanced control over media activities;
  • Drive targeted Digital Marketing education programs, supporting the development of digital expertise in the zones and segments, fostering knowledge-sharing, and driving organizational change to embed digital marketing as a core function;
  • Establish programs to share best practices, assess industry trends, and continuously refine strategies in collaboration with channel leaders and zone stakeholders.

Basic Requirements and Qualifications

  • Significant experience in digital marketing and digital media performance;
  • Proven track record of successfully creating and implementing digital marketing strategies in B2B Healthcare industries and ability to translate business objectives into actionable campaign plans;
  • Strong understanding of all digital marketing channels, tools, and technologies, including proven experience with ML-driven marketing solutions and platforms like Adobe Experience Cloud, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Campaign, and Marketo;
  • Experience in coordinating with media agencies and transitioning media execution to in-house teams;
  • Strong stakeholder management and change management skills, with the ability to drive the adoption of new ways of working across the organization;
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities;
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, manage diversity, and mitigate risks, with a strong drive for results;
  • Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment with a customer-first attitude.
