About the Position
As a DevOps Engineer, you will work within the team that is responsible for designing, building and maintaining the platform where AML RightSource services and applications are hosted.
The DevOps team is responsible for ensuring our platform is secure, scalable, maintainable and cost-efficient. In addition, the team is responsible for developing and maintaining the tools used by the other engineering teams to help them effectively build, deploy and monitor their services in production.
Primary Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll get to work with a broad range of systems and technologies, make design/architecture decisions, define best practices, and work closely with developers and other engineers to build the right solutions.
We use various services within AWS to host our platform as well as using:
- GitLab for CI/CD orchestration
- Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
- Kubernetes (EKS) for container orchestration
- ArgoCD for cluster workload management
- Prometheus for monitoring and observability
- ElasticSearch and Splunk for log aggregation and search
- And most of our services are written in Python
Required Qualifications
- We are seeking a candidate with a solid foundation in all or most of the above areas, along with a passion and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques whilst improving their skills and knowledge.
