Data Stewardship Analyst
Position Summary:
The Data Stewardship Analyst is a detail-oriented individual responsible for research and data stewardship to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the content throughout our Data Products. You engage in research across various Payer and Provider Data Products to expand and enrich our existing content. This role reports directly to the Product Owner in Precision Medicine Group, India. You work closely with various teams to ensure that data is properly classified, managed, and updated so that it can be leveraged by downstream users.
Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
- Stewardship to maintain quality of existing content by validating, and enriching with supporting data as needed
- Perform primary research, evaluating new content for inclusion to the Data Products
- Perform secondary research, analyzing significant volumes of metadata to prioritize primary research queue
- Utilize data management tools, including master data management (MDM) system, data quality dashboards, scorecards, and reports.
- Participate in data governance committees and collaborate with other data stewards to develop and implement enterprise-wide data management strategies.
- Support the development of data quality monitoring frameworks and tools
- Support the maintenance of data dictionaries
- Support the development of data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
Minimum Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in primary research and knowledge management.
- Demonstrated ability to solve an unstructured problem with the use of one or many datasets
Other Required:
- At least 1-2 years of experience working with US Healthcare data.
- At least 1 year of experience in data management, data governance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of data management concepts, including data quality, metadata management, data lineage, and data governance.
- Familiarity with SQL, data management systems.
Preferred:
- Experience with Reltio, Informatica or other MDM tools
- Familiarity with Snowflake
