Data Quality Consultant

The Role

Capco is looking for a Data Quality Consultant to join our Data Strategy & Advisory team. You’ll collaborate with clients to define and implement robust data management capabilities—helping financial institutions become data-driven by design. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for data, excellent analytical acumen, and a drive to deliver practical change through strategic implementation.

What You’ll Do

  • Support design and implementation of data management frameworks policies, processes and standards

  • Drive adoption of metadata, data quality, and data lineage practices across transformation programmes

  • Deliver end-to-end solutions for data tooling, including requirements, deployment and training

  • Facilitate data governance, define ownership, stewardship roles, and reference data standards

  • Contribute to internal capability development, thought leadership, and methodology enhancement

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Data Management or Data Analytics

  • Proficiency with frameworks such as DAMA DMBOK, DCAM, CDMC and tools like Collibra or Solidatus

  • Strong experience in data quality management, process improvement and tooling implementation

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical audiences

  • Proven ability to document and transition current-to-target state data governance environments

Bonus Points For

  • Consulting experience in a top-tier firm or internal transformation team within Financial Services

  • Hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView/Sense)

  • Familiarity with ESG, LIBOR, BCBS-239, GDPR, Consumer Duty or other FS regulatory frameworks

  • Formal certifications in data management or data governance methodologies

  • Experience running small project teams and supporting capability development
