Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team and help shape the integration of new businesses and enhanced activities into global operations. This role combines business acumen with technical expertise to deliver innovative data solutions and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Integration & Process Design:
    Combine business understanding with logical data modeling and process design to integrate new Trading & Supply (T&S) businesses into global operations.

  • System Understanding:
    Gain in-depth knowledge of key Align Energy Trading and Risk Management Systems (ETRMs), focusing on system interactions with Risk tools in the regional context.

  • Market Risk Analytics:
    Analyze pre- and post-deal market risk metrics, including Value at Risk (VaR), Scenario Analysis, Stress Testing, Risk Metric reporting, and PnL Explained reporting.

  • Credit Risk Analytics:
    Assess credit risk on pre- and post-deal bases, covering Potential Future Exposure (PFE), portfolio analytics, Expected Credit Loss (ECL), Credit Value Adjustment (CVA), credit reserves, and cost of credit analysis.

  • Collaboration & Support:
    Work closely with Commercial, Credit, Market Risk, and Valuation teams, supporting production reporting and leading transformation projects.

  • Solution Design:
    Link technical solutions with business requirements, capturing business challenges and creating functional/non-functional requirements (e.g., security, usability, and supportability).

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in data analysis, business modeling, and process improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of market and credit risk analytics.
  • Familiarity with Energy Trading and Risk Management Systems (ETRMs).
  • Ability to create clear documentation and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks and business impacts.
  • Experience collaborating with commercial, risk, and technical teams to deliver robust solutions.
  • Proficient in translating business needs into functional technical solutions.

Work mode: hybrid - minimum 3 days from the office.
