CyberCYBERSECURITY PROJECT MANAGER

This is a remote position based in the United States.  Must be a US Citizen.

We are seeking a junior project manager to join our Cybersecurity Program Management Office (PMO) and work with other project managers in facilitating end to end cross-functional project management support for our various Cybersecurity teams as well as responsible for managing the teams’ agile ceremonies. This role will also be interacting with internal customers from multiple departments within the company and as well as vendors and consultants.  

What Will I Be Doing:

  • Work with the lead project manager to execute cross-functional and cross organizational project activities of diverse scope in partnership with technical leads and business partners.
  • Serve as the Scrum master for the various cybersecurity teams and support them throughout the agile lifecycle
  • Manage planning and execution of all assigned projects to ensure that cost, time, and goals are met
  • Coordinate and conduct periodic stakeholder meetings to ensure status clarity and clear expectations
  • Organize project teams to drive results and overcome challenges.
  • Report and carefully track project status, metrics, roadblocks and alert key stakeholders to risks.
  • Report and escalate to management issues that jeopardize projects.
  • Identify and implement best practices and continuous improvements via project reviews, lessons learned gathering, and root cause analysis.
  • Plan schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives.
  • Interact with all levels of company employees throughout project coordination, including senior management.

What Skills Do I Need:

  • Comfortable with the concepts of Individual, Impact, Innovation, and Integrity (The SailPoint 4 I’s)
  • Willing to embrace new challenges and be a positive contributor to an already positive work culture and environment
  • You truly enjoy leading project teams, working with technology, and solving business problems in innovative ways.
  • 1-2 years of project management experience, preferably within an agile environment and with technical teams.
  • Experience using both Jira, Jira Cloud, and Confluence for agile project management
  • You are a self-starter with the ability to overcome obstacles and deliver consistent results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and timely in conveying information related to key project deliverables and risks.
  • Basic understanding of the full life cycle of project management principles, concepts, practices, standards, and industry best practices. 
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in Cybersecurity
  • Education in Cybersecurity related fields

Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):

$53,100 - $75,900 - $98,700

Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
