Job DescriptionAs a Customer and Risk Account Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial calculations, reporting and account amendments within a controlled framework. The role involves maintaining and testing financial models, processing customer account changes and supporting internal teams with precise calculations and reporting.
As a Customer and Risk Account Specialist we are looking for someone to:
- Develop and maintain Excel-based reports and financial models.
- Perform manual calculations and integrate them into semi-automated Excel models.
- Analyse customer accounts, including interest-based calculations and account closure processes.
- Process amendments to customer accounts, including credit file adjustments and data corrections.
- Respond to ad-hoc queries and provide calculation support to internal customers.
- Review and process daily BAU requests efficiently.
- Create and run exception reports as part of the Customer Strategy Control Framework.
- Assist in testing and reporting on customer account management tools and features.
- Periodically test and maintain existing and new financial calculators/models
Essential:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Strong mathematical competency and analytical thinking
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Team Orientated with strong collaboration skills
- Effective communication skills
Desirable:
- Experience with VBA skills for financial modelling and automation
- Experience with BI tools and database management
- Background in risk management, customer account operations or financial analysis
- Familiarity with data validation, reporting and control frameworks
