Deliver notification letters securely to homes and businesses ahead of water mains replacement work. Responsibilities include engaging professionally with local communities, reporting access issues, safely driving a company van, handling sensitive information in line with GDPR, and using a smartphone app for routing and reporting. The role requires a full UK driving licence, reliability, punctuality, independence, and clear communication. Previous delivery, courier, field-based, customer service, or public-facing experience is desirable.
We’re looking for full time and part time reliable, friendly and conscientious individuals to support our water mains replacement programme by hand-delivering important notification letters to households and businesses ahead of work starting in their community. The work areas will be in Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Lancashire. This is a customer facing role and an important step in providing our customers with a continued positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure letters are delivered securely and to the correct properties
- Engage politely and professionally within local communities
- Report access issues or concerns back to the central team
- Drive and use a company van safely and responsibly
- Understanding of GDPR and data protection requirements, with the ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
This is a part time role, working Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Full UK driving licence
- Confident using a smart phone for routes and reporting via an app
- Comfortable working independently
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Able to communicate clearly and politely with members of the public
