    Job Description

    This is a great opportunity for a credit risk analyst to support reporting and analysis within credit risk. The role offers the chance to work with data, produce meaningful management information, and support decision-making across the business. You will help maintain and align department metrics, governance reporting, provide reporting support, investigate issues, and contribute to continuous improvement, while developing valuable technical and analytical skills in a supportive team environment. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintaining and aligning department metrics and measures
    • Liaising with metric owners, querying inconsistencies or anomalies to ensure accuracy
    • Producing and checking regular governance reporting to support lending, operational and business performance monitoring
    • Updating reporting trackers and Power BI dashboards, while checking and reconciling data
    • Supporting governance, controls and continuous improvement across reporting processes
    • Assisting with governance packs, templates, meeting materials and action tracking
    • Supporting reporting controls, records and documentation to ensure outputs are complete and accurate
    • Building effective working relationships with stakeholders to understand reporting needs
    • Working with teams to gather information for regular reporting
    • Helping to maintain effective working relationships across the wider business

    Qualifications

    • Someone with a passion for delivering results through the effective use and evaluation of data
    • SQL experience preferable
    • Experience in Power BI, reporting tools and data visualisation advantageous
    • Mathematical/statistical background (or other discipline with high analytical content)
    • Ability to communicate complex, technical results to a non-technical audience
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work
    • Curiosity and willingness to learn, investigate trends and solve problems
    • Ability to build positive relationships and collaborate with a range of stakeholders
    • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage regular deadlines
    • A proactive and methodical approach to tasks
    • Motivation to develop new skills and grow within a reporting and analysis role
