About The Team

The Credit & Risk Administrator is part of the Credit & Risk team in the wider Order2Cash function. The team is responsible for multiple tasks in the O2C journey including risk management, cash allocation, customer outpayments and 3rd party supplier management. They ensure that our risk appetite is balanced to minimise bad debt exposure through our robust adherence to the credit policy and timely lead indicator insights, whilst in parallel, supporting the growth ambitions. The team works with key stakeholders to escalate issues timely and ultimately, to propose and implement solutions to help achieve partner, vendor, people, operational and financial targets. Order2Cash is responsible for the customer journey from order to bill, including cash collection and allocation, risk mitigation, bill production and billing accuracy, revenue leakage and compliance and regulatory adherence.

About The Role

The role of a Credit & Risk Administrator is to lead the credit risk strategy and support the primary functions of risk management and vendor support within PXC. Delivering to both quality standards and KPI’s. The role will need to be proactive with key stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers to support the business request, challenge any proposed breach to process or policy and ultimately work to mitigate unplanned or excessive risk, to ensure that our risk appetite is balanced to minimise bad debt exposure through our robust adherence to the credit policy and timely lead indicator insights, whilst in parallel, supporting the growth ambitions within PXC. This role must champion customer satisfaction, escalate issues timely and ultimately, to propose and implement solutions to help achieve partner, vendor, people, operational and financial targets

How will I add value in the role?

  • You'll build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders across the end to end order-2-cash journeys

  • You'll build and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers to ensure a qualitative and consistent delivery of performance

  • You'll act as a custodian of the Credit Policy

  • You'll respond timely and adopt a solution-oriented approach to all customer issues and enquiries

  • You'll adopt an analytical approach to the team workload in order to challenge and drive continuous improvements

  • You'll support and contribute to business change and continuous improvement to champion risk mitigation

  • Knowledge or a strong understanding of the Credit Risk world, ideally having analysed and actioned upon Risk data in a previous role

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (in particular Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

  • Proven analytical skills with a curiosity to dive into data.

  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication, influencing, and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in working directly with business-to-business teams.

  • Understanding of credit control
