The Position
We are looking for a motivated Contracts Administrator to join us to assist our legal and sales teams with contracting matters. The candidate will primarily be focused on supporting business in the EMEA market with accurate and timely processing of contract related paperwork. The candidate will play an important role in Apryse's legal department in a position with excellent career growth potential.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing, reviewing and revising order forms and other routine contracts, including license agreements, amendments, assignments, and MNDAs
  • Drafting custom deal terms and structures where needed
  • Supporting simpler negotiations, with supervision and support from legal counsel and other contract administrators as needed
  • Supporting enablement and training of EMEA sales team with respect to contracting matters
  • Assisting in the preparation, organization and maintenance of template agreements, company policies, corporate records, contracts, and other legal documents
  • Handling incoming legal requests regarding contractual matters and advising or, where appropriate, triaging prior to escalation to a lawyer
  • Working collaboratively with other contract administrators, our lawyers, and our sales and operations teams to develop and support processes for contracting and other legal matters to improve efficiency, scalability and productivity
  • Providing general legal and administrative support as needed


Requirements

  • A Contract Administration or CILEX (Legal Executive)/Paralegal certificate/diploma or equivalent professional experience in commercial contract administration
  • 3+ years working in a similar environment (law firm and/or in-house)
  • Strong logical and critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Consistently accurate and reliable in your work with strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized and able to self-motivate, multitask and work independently
  • Experience with drafting and interpreting contracts and familiarity with legal terminology
  • A service-oriented attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build collaborative business relationships at all levels
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Desire to learn and grow in the position - hope is for candidate to build on their competencies to take on increasingly complex matters and responsibility over time


Nice to Have

  • Experience working in an in-house legal environment and/or with sales teams within a company with a quarterly sales cycle
  • Previous experience in the software or technology industry
  • Legal operations experience
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or contract management or CPQ (Configure Price Quote) systems
  • Fluency in a language in addition to English
