Customer Intermediary Support Advisor

Bupa Place (Salford Quays, M50 3SP)

Permanent

Monday to Friday between hours of 8am and 5pm

Salary £24,200 per annum

How you’ll help us make health happen

Consumer Intermediary is a dynamic and varied area of the business, responsible for its significant contrition to Bupa’s overall growth and retention of Consumer PMI segment. In this role you’ll be required to facilitate and resolve general and wide-ranging product queries from our intermediary partners: developing sound understanding of their requirements while interpreting individual client needs.

  • Develop and maintain a sound understanding of our consumer products, processes and business requirements

  • Answer and resolve a wide range of incoming telephone and email inquiries from intermediary partners

  • Assist intermediaries with Bupa Consumer Intermediary Portal quoting tool

  • Discuss renewal premium increases and produce accurate quote alternatives

  • Support Business Development Managers and other internal and external stakeholders

  • Maintain and improve strong internal and external relationships

Key Skills/Qualifications needed for this role:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical and enquiring mind

  • PC literate with good working knowledge of SWIFT, MS Office

  • Brilliant verbal and written communication and organisational skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Understanding of TCF principles and demonstrate commitment to Service Excellence

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and create an extensive network of contacts both internal and external

  • Ability or desire to work in a target driven environment and motivated to exceed targets and deliver results
