Construction Subcontracts Program Manager

Job Description
BAE Systems is looking for a Construction Subcontracts Program Manager to support their Ordnance Systems line of business that is doing major modernization projects at their facilities in Kingsport, TN and Radford, VA.
As a Construction Subcontracts Program Manager you will;

• Evaluate, negotiate, and manage assigned subcontracts to perform to each project`s specifications, quality, budget, schedule and earned value requirements to include the timely delivery of all deliverables required to fulfill the subcontract.
• Act as the main focal point to the subcontractor and program management office.
• Author, manage and influence critical path releases of Statements of Works (SOWs) and plans to align with required schedules and subcontractor lead times.
• Develop sourcing and subcontract program management strategic plans that address overall program capture needs and execution.
• Participate in the support of new business and in the development of financial plans for the company, as it pertains to the planned outsourced portion of the project(s).
• Establishes milestone objectives and manages performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications.

Open to someone working out of Radford, TN, Kingsport, TN or Falls Church, VA. With 25% travel between Kingsport and Radford.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in related field (Architecture, Contract Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management,) and 10+ years of experience in Construction Management.
• Experience managing large construction projects/subcontracts.
• Skilled in negotiations.
• Well versed in managing quality, budget, and schedule.
• Ability to manage milestone objectives and performance.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experience as an Owner's Representative on large industrial projects
• MBA, PMP or DAWIA PM certifications
• Registered Architect or Professional Engineering a plus

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $127900 - $217400
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
