What the role involves:

As an experienced Community Manager, you will build relationships in the early stages of launching new projects and products, which is crucial if that product is going to succeed. As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for helping teams establish their community's concept and product-community fit from the earliest stages—helping to conceptualise and build communities that launch successful products.

  • Develop the “Minimal Viable Community” framework to help teams incubate and build relationships with potential community members around their products, gather feedback, and deliver insight.
  • Validate community concepts, and identify people who can participate in the product development process. Gather feedback from these people to assess whether your concept matches their needs and desires.
  • Increase the efficiency of product development by understanding what drives your community and communicating those needs to the team.
  • Aim to provide value early in the life of a community by increasing acquisition and conversion rates, improving engagement levels—and delivering newsletter subscriptions.
  • Develop, execute, and document strategies for your community collaboratively with other team members.
  • Create a community experience that is more efficient, easier to navigate, and provides an overview of activity within the community.
  • Manage a community calendar of engagement opportunities, including events, seminars, and tech meetups that align with broader objectives and timelines for the product teams you support.
  • Advocating for a culture shift in product teams to embrace a Web3 approach that favors dialogue and sharing success with those who self-organize into communities.
