We are actively hiring for a Commercial Reserving Actuarial Analyst - Remote!
Your Role:
As a Commercial Reserving Actuarial Analyst IV you will research and develop new methods for loss reserving. Prepare and coordinate analyses of monthly and quarterly loss data. You will also act as project leader for relatively complex projects and studies.
We are open to levels II - IV for this opening. Placement will be determined through the selection process based on experience.
Your Work:
- Prepare and coordinate analyses of monthly and quarterly loss reserves
- Perform complex analysis of data with minimal oversight
- Follow developing trends of market landscape
- Develops and analyzes new methodologies for Commercial insurance loss reserving
- Evaluates analytical work done by others and makes decisions and recommendations that take into account internal and external environment
- Provides training to Actuarial Analysts
Required Experience, Education and Skills
- BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area
- Proven experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on Commercial or Personal lines insurance (Commercial Auto preferred)
- Completion of 5 or more actuarial exams
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages, such as: SQL, R, Python, etc..
- Strong analytical and communication skills

The national average salary range for this position is $122,850.00-$136,500.00. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on work location. The starting pay range for this position across all the states we hire in is $122,850.00-$164,000.00. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 10% of eligible pay.This job posting will be unposted on Mon, 30 Mar 2026.
