About the team:

Our Commercial Finance team plays a crucial role in driving the success of the business by managing budgets, forecasting performance, and providing strategic insights. We ensure financial stability and support our business partners in decision-making.

The impact you’ll have:

To support loveholidays’ mission to open the world to everyone, this Commercial Finance Analyst position will be instrumental in working with key stakeholders across the business. This is a fast-paced role and requires a structured thinker and strong problem solver.

The role is based in Hammersmith, London and and will be part of the Commercial Finance team.
Your day-to-day:

  • Build and maintain detailed financial models to provide data driven recommendations for operational decision making

  • Deliver insights into financial performance by identifying trends, highlighting opportunities, and recommending actions to senior finance and business stakeholders

  • Support the annual budget and forecasting cycles, taking ownership of various components and developing expertise within our planning tool (Anaplan)

  • Partner with the Reporting team during month end to provide commentary on variances while identifying key risks and opportunities

  • Drive innovation and automation within budgeting and management reporting to streamline processes, ensuring high data accuracy and quality

  • Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives and ad-hoc finance projects to support broader business goals

Your skillset:

  • Qualified Accountant (minimum 2+ years post qual)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting

  • Excellent stakeholder management experience

  • Organised, task focused and will go the extra mile to get things done

  1. Introduction to loveholidays with the Talent team - 30 mins

  2. 1st Stage with Head of Business Partnering (45mins)

  3. 2nd Stage with Head of Business Partnering and Senior Finance Manager with case study presentation (1hr) and with representatives from the business (30mins)

  4. Final Stage with VP of Commercial Finance (30mins)
