What You Will Achieve
Pfizer Engineers operate with the highest integrity, as CNSS teams often have privileged access to development and production environments. Protecting confidential information, identifying risks, mitigating non-compliance, and adhering to defined policies and procedures are essential.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement proactive, cloud-native solutions and scalable network infrastructure.
- Use Terraform and Python to automate and manage cloud resources across multiple platforms, including AWS and GCP.
- Partner with customers and the Support team to troubleshoot and resolve cloud service issues efficiently.
- Qualify newAWS services and develop clear, comprehensive implementation workbooks.
- Design and implementInfrastructure as Code (IaC)using Terraform to streamline deployment and management processes.
- Continuously review existingAWS infrastructure to ensure alignment with best practices and security standards.
- Research and evaluate new AWS solutions to enhance current systems and support future growth.
- Monitor system performance and availability, implementing proactive measures for reliability and resilience.
- Engage in business customer communication, understanding needs and guiding solutions that align with organizational goals.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and software development.
- Strong knowledge of public and private cloud platforms(AWS or GCP).
- Proficiency in Terraformand Python.
- Demonstrated understanding and application ofDevOps principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and business acumen.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in AWS or GCP (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity withCI/CD tools and pipelines(Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and application development security.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and security standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
