You will have the opportunity to work closely with the senior buying team and collaboratively with the merchandising team to assist with commercial decisions and making suggestions about future seasonal plans. As a Buyer, you’ll 

  • Work closely with senior buying team, owning full category, development of the ranges and building business relationships.
  • Regular trade calls with your portfolio to maximise sales performance and efficiency for your department.
  • Planning and managing brand budgets ensuring seasonal buys come in on plan and brands full potential are achieved.
  • Oversee and support junior team so that the completion of tasks for critical path are executed in a timely manor.
  • Creation and presentation of seasonal buying presentations made to wider division.
  • Support trade and marketing teams with any requests to actively promote and drive the category


What skills and experience do I need for this role? 

  • 3 Years’ experience at Junior buyer Level or above - ideally from Menswear background
  • A personal interest in branded fashion
  • You will have good interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Good judgement and decision-making skills to made quickly and effectively
  • The ability to work independently
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Excellent multitasking skills and attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication
  • Fluent use of Microsoft Office – in particular Outlook, Excel and Power Point
