Boeing Global Engineering is seeking a Project Management / Engineering Operations Specialist to partner with the Germany Site Director and site leadership to deliver day-to-day business operations and engineering support. This role combines LRBP and capacity forecasting, cross-site process integration, and hands-on project planning and execution to ensure the site meets ET&T KPIs, aligns headcount and utilization to multi-year plans, and delivers program commitments across multiple platforms and systems.

Job Responsibilities and impact
  • Lead and drive the development and delivery of comprehensive project plans and schedules across support programs for multiple platforms and systems, ensuring predictable execution and measurable outcomes
  • Own Long Range Business Planning (LRBP) inputs and forecasts: gather and align inputs from BU leads, HR, and Finance; ensure assumptions are transparent, traceable, and actionable
  • Create and maintain leadership-ready dashboards, site-level performance metrics, and clear management reports; define, document, and continuously improve project metrics and KPIs to support data-driven decisions
  • Coordinate capacity planning and utilization reviews; run operating rhythm logistics (meetings, readouts, materials) and ensure timely closure of action items to maintain operational discipline
  • Lead trade studies and support engineering change proposals; document baseline support concepts and proactively escalate or resolve inconsistencies to protect schedule, cost, and quality
  • Design, lead, and execute test plans to validate supportability and verify that support requirements align with product design and lifecycle needs
  • Apply quantitative and statistical analysis to collect, prepare, and interpret data; deliver insights that reduce risk and guide strategic choices
  • Manage risks and change: document changes, adapt plans, and communicate status and impacts to stakeholders in a structured and timely manner
  • Develop and maintain internal processes and documentation; provide training, coaching, and practical support to uplift team capabilities and standardize best practices
  • Serve as the local Process & Tools subject-matter contact: enable global process adoption, coordinate cross-site business operations, and drive continuous improvement across functions

Basic Qualifications (Required skills/experience):
  • 6+ years of experience in project management, operations, planning, or program coordination in aerospace, defense, or complex engineering environments
  • Experience with project scheduling, risk management, and proven record of project deliveries
  • Experience working in matrixed/global organizations and supporting senior leadership
  • Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel; experience building dashboards and leadership-ready materials
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across functions and geographies
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and translating LRBP/strategic inputs into operational plans
  • Fluency in written and verbal English
  • Existing rights to work in Germany

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
  • Project management certification (PMP, PMI, PMBOK, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of both waterfall and agile project management methods
  • Demonstrated experience in multinational teams
  • High dependability, initiative, adaptability, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Additional language skills a plus
