Business Development Manager (Desk Based)

Location: Old Trafford, Manchester, M16 0PQ

Salary: £40,000 basic (£90,000 OTE)

Hours: Monday to Thursday 1pm - 10pm & Friday 1pm - 6pm (4.5 day week)

As a Business Development Manager at PHMG, you will assume a pivotal role in orchestrating a world-class customer encounter for our clients through the seamless integration of our cloud-based phone solutions. With a primary focus on newly onboarded clients, your mission is to enhance their operational efficiency and elevate their customer interactions by introducing our cutting-edge 'Complete Caller Experience' service. Your responsibility involves strategically positioning our technical solutions to generate additional revenue and unlock the full potential of their communication infrastructure.

Your role is paramount in establishing the trajectory of the client's journey with us. With exceptional interpersonal skills, you'll in still a sense of value and anticipation in our clients, fostering a dynamic that feels less transactional and more partnership-oriented right from the start.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend pre-booked appointments via Zoom, booked for you by our Technical Sales Account Managers
  • Present ‘Complete Caller Experience’ to decision makers and business owners through a structured presentation
  • Take every opportunity to close deals in the first meeting
  • Achieve sales revenue from business meetings
  • Hand off signed deals to an implementation and account management team.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed to the required standard

Requirements:

  • Experience in relevant face-to-face or Zoom B2B sales experience
  • Experience in tech or cloud sales
  • Consistent and proven track record of closing business through a short sales cycle
  • Excellent rapport building skills
  • Extensive experience of closing deals with decision makers of B2B markets
  • Refined direct selling style using SPIN selling and various sales techniques to “always be closing”
  • Strong sense of urgency and comfortable closing a high volume of sales during a first meeting
  • Impeccable professional business image to represent our world-leading branding company
