What will I be doing?
This is a rare opportunity to step into the world of high-value, strategic enterprise sales. We are seeking a bright, organized, and ambitious Business Development Executive (BDE) to work directly with our Head of Sales. Your mission will be to lay the groundwork for long-cycle, high-value deals with some of the world's largest utility companies.
This is not a traditional sales role focused on volume. Instead, you will act as a force multiplier for our senior sales leadership, providing the critical research, coordination, and strategic outreach support needed to engage executive-level stakeholders in our most important accounts. This is a unique apprenticeship in enterprise sales, offering a clear pathway for professional growth and a significant impact on our revenue.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Strategic Account Intelligence: Methodically research and map out utility accounts to identify key executives, business units, and strategic initiatives like digitization and innovation.
- Targeted Outreach & Engagement: Under the direction of the Head of Sales, you will draft and personalize compelling outreach messages designed for senior personas, executing a precise, multi-channel engagement strategy.
- Sales Enablement & CRM Excellence: Manage all follow-up activities, ensure impeccable CRM hygiene, and prepare detailed briefings for sales meetings to ensure our sales leadership is perfectly equipped for every interaction.
- Pipeline Development: You will be instrumental in building the foundation for strategic relationships, warming up accounts, identifying potential champions, and enabling qualified sales opportunities.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about building a career in strategic sales and is motivated by long-term impact over short-term volume. You are exceptionally organized and thrive on the meticulous preparation required to win high-value deals.
Ideally, you'll have/be:
- Relevant Experience: You have 1-3 years of experience in a B2B sales support, SDR, BDR, or research role, with a demonstrable interest in enterprise technology or complex sales cycles.
- Exceptional Organizational Skills: You are exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and reliable. You understand that success in strategic sales is built on meticulous preparation and follow-through.
- Outstanding Communication: You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen ability to assist in crafting professional and persuasive messages for senior stakeholders.
- Growth-Oriented Mindset: You are proactive, coachable, and resilient. You are driven by strategic impact and the opportunity to learn from senior leadership.
What will set you apart
- Direct experience working in a strategic sales or client-facing role in the energy or utilities sector.
- A proven ability to research complex organizations and map out key decision-makers.
- Experience in a B2B SaaS or technology-focused company.
