Reporting to the KDCV Proposals Manager and working with internal and external technical experts, the post holder will take a hands-on role in developing, writing, editing, and formatting complex high-quality winning bids and tenders, at all stages of the tender lifecycle from initial prospect to contract award.

What you'll be doing:

Author and coordinate winning proposals for EOIs, PQQs, RFPs, and ITTs in line with corporate guidelines

Develop impactful responses that address customer needs and highlight company value propositions

Contribute to the entire proposal process, from kick-off meetings to final submission, ensuring quality and timeliness

Collaborate with Business Development teams, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to enhance response quality

Drive sustainability messaging throughout all proposal content, aligning with customer requirements and identifying opportunities

Establish and maintain relationships across business units to support new and existing tender opportunities

Ensure all submissions adhere to corporate branding, quality standards, and effectively convey the company's messages to customers
What we're looking for:

Educated to at least A Level or equivalent (Essential)
-
NVQ Level 5 or equivalent experience (Desirable)

Experience in decommissioning, industrial, or construction sectors (Desirable)

Advanced written communication skills with expertise in proposal writing best practices

Strong attention to detail and advanced proofreading abilities
-
Expert time management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines

Advanced organisational skills to manage multiple projects and present information clearly and logically

Proficiency in IT, including experience with CRM systems and graphic design packages

Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders

Adaptability to tailor writing style for different audiences and work in a fast-paced environment

Understanding of work winning procedures and experience managing complex, high-value tenders/proposals
