We are looking for an Associate Software Engineer to join the development team of D3E, an end-to-end software solution for credit portfolio analytics providing data warehousing, descriptive analytics, and large-scale machine learning facilities.
The Associate Software Engineer will join the product development team and be responsible for:
- Contributing to the development of D3E at every layer of the technology stack, including front-end development using our custom Web framework, batch processing with SQL Server and distributed computational processes using Spark;
- Participating in brainstorming sessions, roadmap planning, design, and prototyping;
- Collaborating on automated testing and validation initiatives;
- Engaging in continuous learning and contribute to shaping departmental methodologies and best practices;
- Getting involved with client-facing activities;
- Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
- University degree in Computer Science or another relevant field of study;
- Up to 3 years of professional experience in application development of enterprise IT software systems and applications;
- Basic experience with C# the .NET framework and modern source code revision control concepts and workflows (e.g., GIT);
- Understanding of relational databases and ability to write basic SQL queries;
- Familiarity with Web architecture (HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM);
- Interest in learning theoretical concepts like statistics, linear algebra, discrete math, and machine learning (ML);
- Effective communication skills in both Greek and English.
