The Opportunity

Abbott Rapid Diagnostics are recruiting an Associate Product Manager to support the Cardiometabolic business. As an Associate Product Manager you will be responsible for the strategic and tactical execution of marketing and business programs to ensure continued growth of the respiratory parameter and Afinion business franchise.

What You’ll Do

  • Support and develop the international markets marketing strategy and plan (product management and marketing activities).
  • Ensure alignment with Business Unit objectives and programs.
  • Help to frame educational modules in collaboration with Training & Education Manager.
  • Liaise with local sales & marketing resources and KOLs to ensure company is anticipating market dynamics.
  • Support major international tradeshows (ensuring KOL preparation, symposia, live testing preparation, competitive analysis and response, and reporting for organizational learning).
  • Develop marketing programs, integrated campaigns and collaterals together with marketing communications team and external agency.
  • Support the translation of strategies into sales programs and tools that are relevant to ensure market share gains.
  • Ensure proper use of value messaging across International Markets for the respiratory test, connectivity and the devices.
  • Initiate key respiratory and connectivity strategic initiatives and partnerships across different clusters of international markets.

Required Qualifications/Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or business-related field
  • MBA or master's degree in science or business related field is preferred
  • Previous experience in sales and marketing
  • Medical devices industry experience in a multinational matrix environment
  • Business planning and project planning
  • Analytical, creative and operational marketing skills
  • Understanding of diagnostic point of care products and their intended use within the health care system
  • Understanding of European, Asian, Latin American, Canadian, African and Middle Eastern sales environment and market conditions
  • Communication and influencing skills
  • Creative thinking and problem solving
  • Project management
  • Storytelling
