We are seeking a dynamic team player who is process-focused and has strong customer service skills to join our Client Service Team and support accounts across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
This role involves managing client relationships throughout their lifecycle, from onboarding to renewal and evaluation calls. The Client Representative will assist clients in fully adopting our products and services and maintain and grow existing business relationships.
In this role, you will:
- Work in an international environment, closely with the Client Service Team in Europe and North America;
- Become, together with your team, the primary and reliable point of contact for clients;
- Support the team in maintaining and improving client retention and satisfaction and mitigating client churn risk;
- This position will allow you to understand how responsible investors can implement investment strategies, be part of a fast-growing and successful organization, expand your business network in a short period, and have the opportunity to assume new responsibilities quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the management of client relations in North America and Europe, involving a portfolio of asset owners, asset managers, banks, insurance companies, and other financial institutions;
- Proactively engage with clients to support their use of our products and services, identify upselling opportunities, and flag any churn risks in time;
- Help clients access and understand Sustainalytics' suite of research products and ESG data so that they can incorporate it into their investment processes.
- Respond quickly to client queries to resolve problems and ensure an effortless customer experience;
- Administrate client information in our internal relationship management systems;
- Work with other departments (Client Support Team, Sales, Data Services, etc.) to ensure that all client requests/expectations are met on time, to identify upselling opportunities, and to mitigate any churn risk;
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience, primarily related to customer service (prior work with investors is an advantage);
- Undergraduate degree in a related discipline (business, finance, environment, and or social sciences);
- Strong customer service skills and process-focused;
- Ability to understand and process client inquiries efficiently;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills;
- Meticulousness and high attentiveness to detail;
- Efficient, well-organized team player with a high level of integrity;
- Agility and fast adaptability to keep changing environment
- Fluent in English (writing and speaking) is a hard requirement;
- Fluent in German, French, or Spanish is considered an asset;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Customer Management systems (Salesforce); and
- Alignment with Sustainalytics' mission, vision, and values.
