We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, passionate about problem-solving, and able to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical audiences. In the future, this role will require being in the office or at a customer site at least three days per week. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Assist in gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements to support product development and operational improvements. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams and public safety professionals to understand their needs and translate them into actionable insights. 
  • Support data analysis and reporting to identify trends and areas for improvement. 
  • Help create presentations, reports, and other materials to communicate findings and recommendations effectively. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to track and support project progress. 
  • Assist in user testing and quality assurance to ensure software solutions meet business needs. 
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to enhance business analysis methodologies. 

What You’ll Need 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Basic understanding of data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, SQL, or BI tools is a plus but not required). 
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in business analysis, product management, consulting, or a related field. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
