Arrowpoint Advisory provide expert Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Debt Advisory and Special Situations advice to publicly-listed, private and family companies, entrepreneurs, sponsor-backed businesses and management teams, investors and lenders.

Overview of Role
Opportunity to work within the newly formed Arrowpoint Advisory team in Manchester. Focused on providing impartial, expert advice to mid-sized corporations, private equity, families and entrepreneurs.
Responsibilities
Deal Leadership and Execution
- Manage and lead the execution of M&A transactions, ensuring all deliverables are met with high standards.
- Oversee financial modelling, due diligence, and strategic analysis to advise clients effectively.
- Work closely with senior bankers (e.g., Managing Directors) to execute transactions, ensuring client objectives are achieved.
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, especially during critical stages of a transaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and stakeholders at client companies.
- Help clients understand the broader strategic implications of their transactions and provide tailored solutions.
Team Management and Development
- Supervise and mentor a team of Associates and Analysts, ensuring that they are effectively contributing to the transaction and development process.
- Review and provide feedback on financial models, presentations, and documentation prepared by junior team members.
- Support the professional development of team members by coaching and guiding them through complex transactions.
Pitching and Business Development
- Contribute to new business development efforts by helping prepare pitch materials for potential clients.
- Assist in marketing and promoting the firm’s M&A capabilities to attract new deals.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to promote the firm’s services and secure mandates.
Industry Knowledge
- Stay updated on market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes that may impact clients and transactions.
- Leverage industry-specific knowledge to provide valuable insights during client engagements, helping clients make informed decisions.
- Build strong and longstanding relationships with the local Corporate Finance and Private Equity community.
Experience, Skills and Competencies Required
- Assistant Director: minimum 4 years of Corporate Finance experience
- A level or equivalent: AAB or above
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent: 2:1 or above
- ACA (or equivalent) qualified: first time passes (distinct advantage, not essential)
