Application Support Test Analyst

Salary range: Up to £46,000 depending on experience

The purpose of this role is to troubleshoot and support critical hospital applications and software issues for internal Cromwell Hospital customers and Bupa Clinics working in small Applications support team alongside 1st/2nd & 3rd line IT team within Cromwell and Bupa Shared IT services teams and key stakeholders.
How you’ll help us make health happen:

Provide second line support for issues from end users to resolve user issues and application and software issues.

Record, track, and document the problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution.

Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, business development teams, end users, and unit leaders.

Manage the prompt resolution or escalation of system errors and downtime in liaison with software suppliers, users and IT

Provide support to software upgrade and implementation projects in the form of testing, training and functional

Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

Experience in an IT Support environment
-
Experience in application support and testing
-
Experience with integration, desirable but not essential
-
Application 2nd line support experience
-
SQL Report writing- Desirable
-
Good understanding of business processes
-
Worked on Service now or similar ITIL based CRM Support Ticketing systems
