About the Opportunity

The Chemistry and Radioanalytical Solutions business at Amentum is recruiting for a Scientific Analyst to be based in Birchwood, Warrington to work with a team of highly qualified technicians, analysts, and senior scientists. For this role, the Analyst will be working with a range of national and international clients. They will need to work collaboratively with other business areas to run analytical processes and solutions to the problems of tomorrow, including operational and decommissioning sites.

The role will be responsible for:

  • Analysis of samples for radiochemical and chemical parameters

  • Timely delivery of results to the customer

  • Working with senior members of staff to deliver the business goals and requirements

  • Experience in laboratory activities

  • Equipment calibration and maintenance

Here’s What You’ll Need

  • Graduate or secondary qualifications in Chemistry or other scientific discipline, or comparable knowledge and experience

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • The ability to collaborate with colleagues

  • The ability to work flexibly on complex problems developing innovative solutions

  • Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
