About the role:
This is a high-impact, foundational role within our engineering team, focused on shaping and
scaling our AI/ML systems. Your mission is to be a core part of the team building the brains behind Convergent’s simulations. Your focus will be on building the best possible systems to enable the most incredible adaptive learning experiences out there.
You will:
● Design and build the agentic architectures and adaptive learning systems that drive our
product's intelligence, applying advanced context engineering to effectively integrate and
guide state-of-the-art LLMs.
● Orchestrate real-time media and voice pipelines to enable seamless, life-like human-AI
conversations.
● Take full ownership of the feature lifecycle, from initial design and development through to deployment and continuous optimization in tight, daily cycles.
Requirements:
● Strong software engineering fundamentals and a commitment to building high-quality,
maintainable, and production-ready code.
● Hands-on experience with multi-agent frameworks, serverless platforms, and real-time
media or voice orchestration systems.
● Deeply engaged with the bleeding edge of AI innovation, with hands-on experience
applying recent advancements (within the last ~6 months) to practical, interactive systems.
● Hands-on experience building with or fine-tuning open-source models is a major plus.
