The Opportunity

We have a newly created Account Manager position within our UK Distribution team to support our sustained and continued growth plans. In this role, you will act as a business partner with assigned intermediaries to profitably grow the business and meet sales / growth targets across multiple UK product lines.

Your role

  • Contribute to the implementation of branch strategies to attract and retain high-value corporate clients to meet or exceed annual financial targets set.
  • Establish and develop relationships and promote company image with key intermediaries and corporate clients.
  • Develop new business and new relationships within both corporate clients and intermediaries to achieve agreed results
  • Review existing portfolios and recommend strategies for increased growth.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships
  • Gather market intelligence on competitors and competitor products.
  • Develop and execute account approach plans.
  • Participate in all relevant meetings to share and develop strategy, knowledge and best practice.
  • Work closely with underwriting teams to negotiate terms and delivery

About you

  • Understanding of commercial insurance products
  • Significant experience in customer service or account management.
  • Strong relationship‑building and customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
