With over 30,000 customers, including a third of Fortune 500 companies, Tempo is trusted by organizations across the globe to make their workflows work better.
We create a suite of integrated solutions for time management, resource planning, budget management, roadmapping, program management, reporting, and more. We create the tech that enables the modern team to deliver – for every step from first vision to value.
Since our beginning in 2007 as a project to make a time-tracking tool to help a client – Tempo has expanded to become the #1 time management add-on for Jira, and we have developed and acquired a multitude of tools to become one of the most trusted names in the Atlassian ecosystem.
We want everyone to work better – but we also want to be a tech company with a heart. Join us as we continuously innovate our award-winning products, create new solutions, and help the world work smarter, not harder.
About the role:
We’re looking for an experienced QA engineer to join our team that works on one of our flagship products - Structure for Jira. We are a team of dedicated professionals, and you should want to release the best-in-class software to fit our team spirit.
As an agile team, we prefer Working Software over Comprehensive Documentation, so our tools are mostly brains, hands, mind maps, and checklists. Our challenges are:
A lot of compatibility testing (browsers, Jira, Confluence, and other plugins)
Quality at speed: we often need to ship faster without cutting the quality
Prioritization and exploration on an everyday basis
Everyone in our company feels responsible for the quality of the product. Our developers write unit and integration tests and perform code review for each change to the codebase.
What you’ll do:
Plan testing activities, participate in an iteration, and release planning
Requirements testing, performance testing, compatibility, and integration testing on the system level
Exploratory and scripted testing of all our products
Triage of found issues
Communicate with product managers, designers, software developers, other QA engineers, and technical writers
Who you are:
At least 2 years of experience in testing
Solid experience in planning and executing manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing
Experience in creating checklists
Web application testing experience
Testing of business logic, usability, and UI
Understanding the difference between GET and POST requests
Basic XSS knowledge
Understanding of software development lifecycle and software development methodologies
Experience with Jira/Confluence
The following will be considered as an advantage:
ISTQB certification
Experience with Jira administration
Experience with agile software development methodologies
Experience with mind maps
Experience with performance testing
Experience with security testing
