Department – Operations   

Responsible to: Internet Problem Solver Supervisor   

Location: Kingsway Distribution Centre 

Shifts: 4 on 4 off T1D

Some of the key responsibilities:

  • To diagnose and trouble shoot potential problems before they arise
  • To deal with a variety of operational process problems as they arise
  • To read the workflow and make decisions based on factual data
  • To Interpret data effectively
  • To clear down aged stock and manage dwell times
  • Liaising with stock control, and other key departments such as Customer services to ensure that issues are fully resolved
  • To respond to problem emails, ensuring these are fully resolved
  • To examine a process and suggest improvements
  • To meet deadlines and a commitment to customer service, as it relates to product fulfilment
  • To be able to work without supervision and manage own workload
  • To be able to deal with any other reasonable requests in line with the needs of the business

Skills/Experience/Knowledge needed:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (across all levels), able to liaise with confidence and tenacity
  • Enthusiastic, and the ability to motivate others
  • Able to work on own initiative, taking accountability for own actions
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and goals
  • Be able to demonstrate problem solving, researching, and analytical skills
  • Highly flexible
  • Be fully computer literate and comfortable working with various software systems
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • An understanding of procedures and goals relating to Internet department
