PORTWEST, a leading global manufacturer of safety wear, workwear and PPE is currently seeking applications for the position of Marketing Manager in Manchester, UK on a full-time permanent basis reporting to the Senior Marketing ManagerFounded in 1904, Portwest has become one of the fastest growing workwear companies in the world currently employing over 5,100 staff worldwide. With 1400 styles across more than 20 ranges, we design, manufacture and distribute market leading workwear, safety wear and PPE in fully owned production facilities. JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a creative and detail-driven Marketing Manager to join our growing Marketing Team.
This role is responsible for leading the execution of global marketing programs and creative content production, including photo and video campaigns, product launches, and cross-market assets. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, highly organised, and comfortable working across teams and time zones. A willingness to travel for shoots, events, and cross-regional collaboration is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute global marketing strategies and develop key print materials to support campaigns.
  • Lead photo and video production: capture, model casting, look lists, stock orders, and final asset selection.
  • Manage image coding, Media Hub uploads, and launch assets across EUROW, USA, and AU regions.
  • Produce collection start pages, video packs, toolkits, range photography, and catalogue sections.
  • Translate technical product details into clear, engaging marketing content.
  • Develop training materials for internal teams and customer programs.
  • Drive industry-specific campaigns from research to execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain product databases and manage digital asset systems.
  • Represent the brand at events, providing marketing support.
  • Analyse campaign performance and recommend improvements.
  • Support additional marketing and company-wide initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Five years of experience in a similar marketing role.
  • Relevant third-level degree and/or professional marketing qualification.
  • Exceptional written, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative team player, capable of working effectively within the marketing department and across wider teams.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with a proven ability to create compelling and engaging content.
