- Refine our infrastructure as code (Terraform) and associated CI/CD pipelines. Support developers in making changes going forward.
- Play a key role in introducing a culture of infrastructure as code and enforce through appropriate tooling.
- Critically review and where necessary enhancing our existing security stance.
- Work with the development team to introduce application-level observability solutions (e.g. CloudWatch, Datadog)
- Optimise infrastructure to reduce our AWS costs
- Ensure smooth running of handful of EC2 instances
Key Technologies: AWS (Lambda/Serverless), zappa, RDS, EC2, S3, Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, zappa.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture principles
- Deep understanding of AWS services and architecture
- Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, pulumi)
- Strong knowledge of security best practices in AWS cloud environments
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog)
- Experience with serverless architecture and services (e.g., AWS Lambda)
- Linux admin and basic shell scripting
- Ability to work 3 days a week onsite in our London office
